| Script: | (Two campers walk onstage together, gazing around at imaginary paintings) Camper #1: What a terrific art show this year! Camper #2: Yes, the quality of the paintings is simply magnificent! Camper #1: It will be so difficult to judge the winner. But, I do like this one here. Camper #2: I agree, it is wonderful. But, see this one? It's at least as impressive. (they can go on admiring indiviudal paintings, or have more campers in the conversation) Camper #1: Oh My! LOOK AT THIS! Camper #2: (gasping for breath) Astounding! Amazing! So vivid! Camper #1: This is OBVIOUSLY the winner, no doubt about it. Camper #2: Absolutely! None compare to this masterpiece. (camper #3 comes up behind them and points at the painting) Camper #3: Hey, that's mine! Camper #1: You are the most brilliant painter ever! Camper #2: A painter like you has never been seen before! Camper #3: What? I'm no painter. I'm the janitor and that's the rag I use to clean the floor after all the artists finish painting for the day. Now, give it back! (tears it off the wall and walks away) |
